I am a non-tradidtional student who was out of academic circles for seven long years. During that time I lived in Indianapolis where I ran a deli in a chain super market called Marsh.
Though the work paid well, it wasn't enough to suport me as well as pay tution. So I moved back to home, to take advantage of the state's educational system. By emersing myself in it for as long as possible, which is one of the reason why I want to be a teacher.
Currently I live outside of Binghamton and commute three days a week while working.
Personality wise, I am considered, laid back, open minded, goofy, and motivated.
Here is an interesting article that combines citizen journalism with the concept of a wiki. It seems that there is now a shift into stronger citizen based news coverage, check it out.

Hi Jo, this link does not take me to the article you're referencing.
Instead it takes me to sign in option and when I do that I get to the front page of the paper.
Then I don't know what to do since I don't know the title of the article you're referring to.
Sorry!! But I do get what you're trying to feature re: the "new" journalism.
